When we started working together I was worried about being in a gym, working out in the gym by myself, I didn’t think I’d be very good at gym workouts. You slowly built my confidence, listened to my feedback and adjusted workouts to make me feel more comfortable. I wanted to stop hurting everywhere and wanted to be more flexible.

When I started training with Jason I was worried about doing just free-weights all the time, but we ended up with a good mix of free-weights, ab and cable work. Since beginning our training together I've gained core strength, muscle, lost overall weight including stomach area, learned about nutrition and how it affects training and general health, learned new exercises which I will be able to do on my own when not in the gym, and learned how to do exercises properly without pain. When we first started working together I had some reservations about the cost and my experience with my previous trainer. 


You allowed me to see how you work which legitimized the cost: you are professional, focused, educational, and we always start and end on time. That allowed me to see the value you bring. Respect for my time (which was a huge issue with first trainer) while pushing me to do more. Also made me realize that I need the motivation and guidance from a coach that I respect their opinion and trust.

I hate working out at home and I wasn’t sure if I was going to want to do the workouts. I didn’t think I would stick to it or want to do it.


Your feedback and words of encouragement made me want to keep going. That red X makes you never want to miss anything ever again. The app with the videos and instructions made it easy to follow which made working out at home more bearable and I honestly feel like i could keep doing home workouts for the time being.


When I started I wanted to get back into the routine of exercising and monitor my food intake.

This was just what I needed to get back into the swing of things. I’ve never measured my food or tracked my calories before so this was an amazing experience for me in that regard. I’ve also been a little down in the dumps (as I’m sure most people are) with this pandemic and this brought me back to life. It forced me to make a routine and add some structure to my life. I feel motivated to workout and work towards my goals. Now that I’ve seen some progress, I’m excited to keep it going and that’s all because of you. When I started working with Jason I had some reservations about the cost of training. I wanted to discontinue my blood pressure medication and not feel like I was dying when I exercise. So far I've dropped 30lbs (254lbs to 224lbs), went from a 44 to 38 pant size, I'm able to deadlift and squat and can now do the stairmaster from 20 minutes without collapsing which is a big accomplishment for me.
